Thanks to David Reidy over at the Sticks and String podcast, I scored a pair of complimentary tickets to the Stitches and Craft show. Ailsa and I went along on Friday, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
I am very proud to say that I didn’t purchase any yarn. None, not an iota.
The same cannot be said for fabric.

There are many, many knitting pouches in my future. Watch this space!
Does feel good to wind something. I love all your fabric!
You’re a bad, bad girl… :o)
I recognize two of those pieces of fabric. The Dick and Jane one, and the little Baboushkas. I love those!
oh look at that. i see quite a lot of potential there… and that david reidy, whatta guy.
great win and yes I had a bit of trouble at the fabric ailse at the show – on level 4 that is
Oh how exciting!!! I recognise some too!! Happy sewing.
Wow, it didn’t look like that much when you were carrying it!
I love it all though. My fave is the bold geometric one with the dots on it. And the butterfly toile.
I don’t recognise any of them of course, I know nothing about the heirachy of sewing fabric.
Nice catch!
No yarn! I’m amazed!! But the fabric – lovely stuff!
Beautiful fabric!
Awe what a lovely selection of fabrics, cant wait to see what you make.
I am just giving a shout out to everyone who sews/quilts if they have any left over navy blue fabric, I am taking donations so I can sew them into bags for the Dapto Cub Scouts.
Ooo! I was there on Friday [with DD] but didn’t run into you! Perhaps I didn’t look hard enough at the fabric stalls!! LOL
Love that fabric in the upper left corner with its butterflies and flowers and the one with the little Babushkas too.
Glad you had such fabulous shopping.
