Marilinda

Before I left for camp, I was a little worried about my Personal Sock Club. For April, I was working on the Marilinda socks. On Friday, April 24, all I’d managed for the month was half of one sock. I was halfway through the gusset, and thought that there was no way I was going to make it.
However, I underestimated how much you get done when you go to camp and have no demands on your time, and no distractions. (Limited internet access helps, too!)

I finished the first sock on Saturday afternoon at camp. I would have hit a snag then, because I didn’t have my Kitchener Stitch video to help me do the toe. Fortunately, Bells is one of the chosen few who can do Kitchener without assistance, and she saved me by grafting my toe!
This morning, I’d got the second sock up to where the first sock was only 4 days ago. I’m now going to work exclusively on this sock, and I should have it done before Friday. Then I’ll get a new sock package!
While I was downloading the pictures of the sock tonight, I discovered pictures of what my family ate in my absence. I knew Emily had asked David if they could have his infamous greaseball burgers, but apparently he outdid himself this time.

I think I’d better get their cholesterol tested.
