I’m starting to feel a little like I’m bragging, but you guys understand the knit thing better than anyone else I know.
I skipped out of the pavilion, somewhat embarrassing Em in the process. Next weekend, Campbelltown Show, Tuesday April 7 is the Easter Show Preview, so the results will be in, and that’s it for the Shows until next year, I promise.
bragging? Nah, never. We all need to celebrate our wins!
It’s fabulous Donna, you should celebrate, and skip, and jump for joy!! And also wear all the ribbons etc to knitting camp!!
i’ll keep tugging my forelock!
Yes we knitters love to see what wonderful awards you receive for your beautiful knitting. Congrats Donna, well deserved!!
I think that was a well deserved skip – and isn’t it a mother’s right to skip and to embarrass your offspring?
Yup – you totally deserved those! Skip away 🙂
Well done!
Skipping, mmmmmm will have to remember that one. I often try to embarrass my DD, it’s a mums job!
you think you’re bragging? No way!!!
You should hear ME bragging about the fact that I know you, LOL!!!
So proud!!!
I cut & pasted this:
bragging – exhibiting self-importance; “big talk”
boastful, braggart, braggy, cock-a-hoop, crowing, self-aggrandising, self-aggrandizing, big
proud – feeling self-respect or pleasure in something by which you measure your self-worth; or being a reason for pride; “proud parents”; “proud of his accomplishments”; “a proud moment”; “proud to serve his country”; “a proud name”; “proud princes”.
You have all the right in the world to brag or I love this “cock-a-hoop”, where does that come from??
You knit and enter as many items as you can do and win more. Your work is beautiful! Way to go.
I should have know it!
cock-a-hoop
Adjective
Brit, Austral & NZ in very high spirits [origin unknown]
Next time cock-a-hoop! and give us all a giggle over here in USA
You brag away! This is wonderful. I think we all understand and are just really pleased for you. You didn’t bribe the judges (I’m presuming) – you won these because your work is so fantastic. Good luck in Campbelltown.
That’s extremely mild bragging, almost to the point of calm statement. But you brag away. You earned it. That’s some wonderful knitting you turned in, and I’m glad you got the recognition you deserve for it.
Congratulations!
You’re not bragging, you’re sharing your wonderful experiences with us so that we can all celebrate. With knitting like that, you deserve to.
Wahoo! Go Donna
brag away – no0one here will think any less!!! what is the blog world if not one big show and tell stage?!

Brag away , you deserve to . I’m impressed . But what about the big H , the Hawkesbury Show?
What? You’re not going to provide any competition in the Penrith Show? LOL
Seriously, congratulations, you deserve it!
If you can’t boast to us, who can you boast to?!?
Eeeee! This is a really exciting season! More Ribbons!! Hm. I guess we do this stuff in the fall up here, too, and it’s fall there, so it all makes sense, even if my season-clock is all turned around upside down from yours!
Congratulations on your Show successes! They look fantastic – you are so talented!
