So today we drove to Canberra and back, and had coffee with lovely knitters and crocheters. It’s a long trip to do, both ways, in one day though, so we’re all stuffed, so this post will be short and sweet, with more tomorrow.
I just wanted to mention that halfway home, darkness fell, and I kept knitting. With black yarn, in the dark, totally blind.
Not even one dropped stitch, I was very proud of myself. I eventually had to stop, because the next row required increases, and I’m just not that good!
And my ball fell apart, so I had to rewind it by hand, by feel alone.

Mission accomplished!
In the dark? Black yarn? Nice work. I’m impressed.
Was great to see you both!

You clever thing, knitting in the dark (ooh, that should be a song!)
Lovely to see you both again, and thank you so much for the present!
That does not look like a pink sock. What are you making now?
So sorry I couldn’t meet up with you guys this time – I’m sure there will other chances in the future (there bad better be!!!) 🙂
It was lovely to meet you Donna (and Em). Well done with the black knitting. Who needs a daylamp when you can knit by feel! (I can’t)
Very clever! I have been fantasising about knitting in the cinema and the theatre lately. I have no excuses do I??
Ain’t you the clever one? [but we already knew that!] 🙂
wow, good job on the night knitting! (I have a little book light that I clip onto my seat belt!)
