So today I saw on both Bells and Jess’ blog that they’re participating in Blogtoberfest hosted by BigCat.
I’m going to give it a go, but I can’t make any promises. Way back when, I did used to post every day, but I have no idea what about, my life just isn’t that interesting!
Thank you for all your supportive comments about the evil, thoughtless woman I mentioned in my last post, and a huge thank you to everyone who offered to send on a Knit Picks order for me! I have someone lined up, but I may call on someone else next time, now that I know there are so many helpful people out there!!
I started something new today! Inspired by a friend, I’ve finally pulled out my Evie kit from Kim Hargreaves. I purchased it as a kit some time ago, but it’s not available in that format any more, only in her new book, Thrown Together. (Which I don’t have yet, but it’s on my Christmas List. Are you listening, dear? Bookmarking?)
The cardi is knit in RYC Cashsoft 4 ply, which is just heavenly to touch! But. Yes, 4ply. Fingering weight. Sock Yarn size. I may be working on this one for quite some time!!
Not-so-huge progress was or was not made today!
And something else I noticed as I changed the calendar over today.
Polar Bear, relaxing.
Twinkie, relaxing in the aftermath of a hay cube.
Am I the only one who can see a similarity here?
No I can see the similarities. My cat would look the same, after a feast.
Good luck with the cardigan.
yeap. there’s definitely a similarity there. both lying down on their tummy!!! hehehe
Oh there’s definitely similarities there!
Love the cardigan in the last post and that nasty woman, fancy sayin’ that!
Hope you’re well.
Yes, except Twinkie is a lot easier to hug I think!!!!
i dont have an interesting life either. Knitting and work. It’s about the little things, I reckon.
The similarities are alarming!
Do I spy an Evie? Looking good Donna!
