So it’s Saturday again.
And I failed. No finished project today. Well, there is, kind of.
Half a project, and another beautiful Saturday sky.
Yup, one sock. It counts!!
It especially counts, because David is now wearing that sock, with another sock. Do you think he’s trying to tell me something?
Here’s a better picture of the sock.
I mentioned to the family last night that I didn’t have anything finished for today. Em suggested I knit a swatch.
I’m training her well, aren’t I?!?
I’ve had a pretty good week. I spent Thursday with a couple of great knitters, playing ladies at tea, which was fun. ‘m finally getting caught up on the sewing. I have five costumes almost done, and only seven not started. That’s really been hanging over my head.
Tonight we’re off to see Hairspray, which I’ve been looking forward to for weeks.
It’s another gorgeous day today, but Twinkie just can’t decide whether to come out or stay in.
It’s a hard life!
And what a wonderful sock that is. I love the greens in that colourway.
You are training Ems well, well done you!
i love that sock – nice colorway! i’ve been shifting from project to project and about to start another one – a swatch at least, so i guess in em’s mind i’ll finish something….have a nice weekend – we’re having a humid kind of end of summer….
What a lovely sock!!! Love the colour!
Twinkie looks so comfy, poor Fluffa had his needle today and isnt very happy!
I am so glad it’s not just me that will wear a newly finished sock with whatever odd sock I have on. It makes me hurry up and start the second sock.
You will love Hairspray!! (And I love that sock)
Well, you finished one half of a pair. Now you just need to finish the second one by next Saturday! 🙂 I think you need to knit David some more socks.
1 sock is a FO if it is being worn – anyway my girls are always mismatched socks – that’s cool!
In my world half a project finnished actually counts. It means your not far from the end.

One sock counts. Yes, it does. Great looking one too.
the sock’s excellence is not diminished by its singularity, as is obvious from D’s inability to resist the siren call of the single sock :>
‘s cool, be calm, and revel in the knowledge that nurture obviously plays a big part in passing on knitting terminology, whatever their natural inclination might have been!!!
