It’s raining. That’s actually really good news.
Twinkie doesn’t think so.
Every now and then she looks out the door to check if it’s stopped yet.
Yesterday was back to school, but I had canteen duty all day, so I didn’t get the nice quiet day I’ve been longing for. So the rain today is perfect. I’m going to sit on my butt with the television and my shawl and knit until Em’s bus gets in.
The shawl is progressing nicely.
13 border rows done, and the best bit of this part is that I’m decreasing. Here’s a close up.
I’m actually really enjoying this, there’s very little repetition, which is what usually bores me. So far so good, but I’m not quite sure what will happen when I have to do it three more times!
Rain?? How we dream of rain!! Poor Twinkie. Does she smell all woolly sheepy when she is wet?? Have a nice day knitting!!

It sounds like we may have a lead on a bunny rabbit that can come to live with us. Bitty is beside herself with excitement.
Bug is too busy preparing for the big ballet/jazz/tap recital to be thinking about bunnies.

Pretty! We just got our truck washed, so it’s sure to rain here too.
Wow a bit of rain,Iknow how bad its been there and being an arid area here, we dont see it as much as you,only when you start to see the bush trees dying that it becomes apparent!

Quick question, are you going to knit the four sides and then knit the center square in the round? I could dig out my Gathering Of Lace but I have no idea where it is and I don’t want to be tempted by any more lace knitting. I already have plans for about 4 shawls.
Twinkie looks like she is doing a stop raining watch, waiting for the sun to shine on her.

Your shawls are beautiful, as is the tea cosy posted about earlier! Your Show experience sounds terrible – nasty silly biddy – but you could laugh too – funny in a ‘Black Books’ kind of way I guess. Thanks also for the comments on my blog!
