Saturday sky on Sunday.

We drove all over Ingleburn, trying to get a good shot of the silly blimp, then it flew right over us. Of course.
We should have started Saturday sky months ago. It seems like we’ve had gorgeous weather nearly every Saturday since we started!
Twinkie was unimpressed by the weather. In fact, she was unhappy about everything yesterday, as she went to the vet for a shot and nail and fur clipping.
Portrait of an unhappy bunny in her carrier.

Her mood is a bit better today, but she’s still cranky. The vet told us she was a big girl, and could stand to lose a little weight, but we were expecting that. Otherwise, she is in excellent health.
Knitting updates, Ene is growing.

Or shrinking, depending on how you look at it. Down to 129 stitches, and only two and a half charts to go. I’m really enjoying knitting Ene. I’m finding the pattern is interesting enough to keep my attention, but also easy enough for me to watch television while I’m knitting.
And the Zephyr? It wanted to be green. Pacific Green from landscapes to be precise.

It’s a little greener than it appears here. Not quite sure what it wants to be knitted up as, but I’m thinking it might be Ethereal Fichu.

  1. Oh, poor Twinkie,My Fluffa is due for her injections too and the vet is not a very gentle one either.
The last lot of shots left a sore on her shoulder as it was too cold, just as she goes some hair back she’s in for it again!
She doesn’t like me trimming her knots off either and when she starts to scratch I have to be quik to move her as she latches on,ouch!

  2. Poor Twinkie hope it all fades away like a bad dream for her.
    Ene is going great
Isnt it great trying to find something to add to saturday sky.

  3. I think Twinkie is pleasingly plump! 🙂 So, bunnies pout just like cats when they go to the vet?
That sky with blimp is just gorgeous! There is something about that shade of blue…..
    Loving your yarn!

  4. Poor Twinkie! Hopefully she forgot all about it once she came back home and saw her house again.
That Pacific Green is just beautiful! I love oceany colors…and I took a peak at Ethereal Fichu — it looks like it would be perfect for the new yarn.

  5. You are making me want to knit Ene! Stop it! Just kidding, it’s so pretty!
I’d be cranky too if the doctor told me I needed to lose weight.

  6. Hi Donna, I’ve managed to delete my Aussie Knitblog button – again – and can’t remember the I.D # to log into ringsurf for the code. HELP!
