Shit.
Can you see it? I didn’t notice it until now, but now I have to decide if I can live with it or not.
If you honestly can’t see it, the patterning above the dark stripe is off by one stitch. If you can’t see it, feel free to reassure me that it’ll be fine.
well, if I turn my head all the way to the side and squint my eyes then I can tell it’s off, but other than that, I can’t tell a thing. :~)
it looks perfect ;~)
huh? which stitch?
I think it looks off because of the nature of knitting in the round. And I would just leave it. When you wear the sock, the pattern will expand in certain places and nobody will notice.
=:8
I can’t find what stitch you mean. I’d just leave it.
I tried to see the mistake before reading about it, but I couldn’t spot it. 😉
I can’t tell where it is? Only the person making it can tell. If it’s going to but you fix it, but if not, I’d leave it.
cant find it brain says NO
Well, I really couldn’t see it until you pointed it out, and even now it’s hardly detectable for me. I’d say this is one of the tiny mistakes that only the one who makes the project can see, no one else will! No reason for frogging, keep going – it looks so great already!
Well, now that you pointed it out, and with a LOT of trying to figure out what you were talking about, I THINK I can see it. If that’s not enough of a NO, I don’t know what is. There is no way that ANYONE would ever see that, either on or off the wearer!
What? A mistake? Don’t see it! 😉
I honestly don’t see it.
I really can’t see it but think it looks fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!
I couldn’t see it until you pointed it out, and I still have to look really hard to see it. Leave it, no one will be the wiser unless you tell them.
I finally figured it out–after reading your post and staring at it a good 10 minutes. Don’t pull these pop quizzes on me until I get some caffiene. 😉 Seriously–I had to look hard to find it, and if you hadn’t pointed it out, I never would have noticed it. My test would be–place it next to the completed glove, and if it jumps out at you, fix it, and if it doesn’t, leave it.
I’ll be fine I think!
I can’t see it. It looks great!
I know you’re drawing a big red arrow that says “Here’s the mistake!” but I STILL can’t see it. Either I need my eyes checked or it’s completely unnoticeable….yes, it must be the latter!
It took a lot of looking but then realised where you were talking about. It is not noticeable, but I know you and you will rip it back….won’t you. Anyway, I would leave it, when wearing the glove who is going to get that close to see it.
I don’t see anything except a wonder knit item taking shape. Great job!
I couldn’t see it until I you told me what to look for, and then it still took a few minutes to figure it out. Even now, I have to think about it. It’s sooooo not noticeable. I say let it be and keep on knitting.
I’d say leave it………. but we know you won’t.
Admit it…. you did it deliberately so you could draw out the enjoyment you are getting from all that Fair Isle 😛
The fact that you have pointed it out here means it worries you. Fix it.
I had to read it twice, and I’m still not sure I see what it is. However, I am an obsessive person, and have to yank out mistakes whether they are noticeable or not, so if you are like this, then I would just frog and forget about it…
only after reading your description 4 or 5 times could I see the mistake (for everybody who still doesn’t see it, the green triangles above the dark brown stripe are one stitch to the right of the pattern below the dark brown stripe). Honestly, I think that taking out the 6 or 7 rows and doing them properly is probably worth the time. If you were another 20 or 30 rows into the project, then definitely not, but at this point it won’t take that much time to frog, and I’m sure you’ll be much happier with the finished product! Either way, it’s beautiful!
I really didn’t see it until you told me.
Honestly, I didn’t see it till you said what was wrong. I was too busy admiring the colors you chose. But now the cats outta the bag, I say rip! It’ll haunt you FOREVER. You know what you need to do…*hugs*
Well…now that you pointed it out, but I was too interested in the Fairisle pattern and the lovely colours. Is it a pattern that is readily available?
