I’ve been working diligently on Em’s sweater, and I’m now halfway up the front. However, despite the nice bright colours, the stockinette was starting to bore me more than a little.
So I cast on for the Flower Basket Shawl 🙂
Do you remember the pale pink laceweight wool I bought a few weeks back? Well, I wound the cone into two balls and cast on. The yarn I bought is laceweight, as recommended, but I had to go up to a 6mm needles (from a 4.5mm needle) to get gauge.
I’ve only done 24 rows, but it has reminded me that I Love Lace 🙂
