Em is feeling much better, thankyou for all the well wishes! She’s going back to school tomorrow.
Today I finished the back of her stripey sweater. The green is not photographing well, but this is pretty close.

She won’t fade into the background, that’s for sure! 🙂
She loves it, though, and is still insisting that they are her favourite colours.
Has everyone seen the Pink Ribbon Sock pattern? Socks for a great cause. I’m thinking the designer could have sold this pattern and made some money for research. In any case, she does mention that everyone could consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society. I think I’ll send it the the Australian Cancer Council.
I emailed Rob at Threadbear and ordered the sock yarn today. I got Lorna’s Laces Old Rose, which is what the original was made with. I keep hearing about how wonderful Lorna’s is, so I’m looking forward to it!
I love Em’s sweater! It should make her feel better wearing the bright lovely colors! 🙂
You will love lorna’s! There’s no going back!
I’m glad Em is feeling better and I am sure just seeing her sweater in the works helps too.
I’m glad to hear Em is doing better. My eardrum almost ruptured, but I was lucky in that I only suffered one broken bone and about 40% hearing loss.
I’m with Em on the top…I love those colours together.
Hello. Come visit me at piperknits!
Wow, Em’s sweater is happy looking! She’ll definitely brighten up a room! Glad she’s feeling better. Thanks for pointing out the socks for a cause.
Awww, I’m sorry to hear about Em’s ear infection. Those are so painful! Thankfully the antibiotics usually work pretty fast to help the discomfort. The sweater looks like just the thing to perk her up. I love the way you are putting the yarn together. Yep, you will love Lorna’s Laces.
Thanks again for my wonderful surprise!
Thank you for sharing the pink ribbon sock pattern link…….they are lovely and a donation for a good cause! I hope that Em is feeling better……that sweater should perk her up in no time!
I love the pink ribbon socks too. when I’ve finished my banisters, and snowflakes and cascading leaves.I’m making them too.My sister is a breast cancer survivor and I think she’ll like them.

I would love to know what pattern the green and pink sweater is. My daughter would love it. She saw a peek on the blog and decided she must have it. At 7 years old she is a joy to knit for. Unfortunetly, the brothers are getting jealous. Love the blog
