I finished Em’s hat 🙂
Sorry about the blurry pic, not quite sure what happened there! Things went much quicker with this hat after I went out yesterday and bought a new 3mm circular.
I made the hat 1/2″ shorter than the pattern, because the pattern was an adult size, but I think I should have done it the full length. Em is happy with it though, so it probably doesn’t matter 🙂
I’m having surgery tomorrow – nothing major, one of those in and out in one day things, so I may post tomorrow, depending on how tired the anasthetic makes me. Unfortunately, they’ve scheduled me for the afternoon, and I have to fast all day. I also seem to be almost coming down with a cold. I hope it holds off until Tuesday!!
Wish me luck! 🙂
Em is adorable; the hat is beautiful. I enjoy your blog every day! Best of luck tomorrow.
Thoughts and prayers with you tomorrow. Em looks so cute in her hat.
The lace hat is so sweet in pink and looks pretty on Em. I am inspired to make one for my 11 yr old daughter, but not sure if she’ll wear it. Have a good rest before & after your op.
What a beautiful hat on such a beautiful girl! It looks lovely on her.
Good luck tomorrow.
Em has the sweetest face, EVER. She looks so cute in that hat. I think you could put a vacuum cleaner bag on her head, and she’d make it look like a haute fashion statement.
Hope your surgery goes well. Rest up…I guess that means more knitting time! I love Em’s hat! It’s so adorable and she looks so cute in it!
Sending long distance good thoughts, Donna! Nothing random about it! haha! 🙂 Feel better!
Have just fond your blog for the second time and bookmarked it. I notice you are using Bambi wool While I try to use Australian products, I bought some of this and it’s absolutely gorgeous. So easy to use and I don’t think there has been even one split. Very soft and comfy feeling. I don’t know where you are in Aust. But I bought mine from Knit It, Hannah Street, Beecroft. up the top, almost to the main road. Lots of goodies there. (you can find a link to them from the NSW Knitting Guild site.
