Look what arrived in the mail today!
Jo Sharp Silkroad DK from Ozeyarn. Say it after me…… yum! It feels divine. 85% wool, 10% silk and 5% Cashmere.
For the Dark Blue, which is named Serpentine, this is the planned project, from the current issue of Creative Knitting (Australian magazine).
The pink, named Paper Rose is destined to eventually one day become this, “Take me Along” from InKnitters Spring 2004.
Here are some close ups of this delicious yarn. I love the flecks in it! I was a little worried that DH would balk at the little pink bits in the Serpentine, but he is fine with it.
The ladies at the Post Office know me now. They ask what I’m knitting, and how I can possibly knit so much. I wonder what they’d think if I said “Oh I just take most of it home, admire it, then stuff it in a big box!” 😉
I am literally drooling over the colors in that yarn. The paper rose is particularly beautiful. Wow!
