I did about 2 or 3 inches of Wendy’s tank in the pink yarn today, but I wasn’t really happy with the stitch and pattern definition. So I swatched with the purple cotton, and I like that way better.
Frog, baby, frog!
Don’t get me wrong, I really like to knit with the pink, it’s lovely. The wool and the lycra give the cotton a softness and stretch that makes it nice to work with. It is a bit splitty, though.
I swatched on 3.75mm needles with the purple cotton, and got gauge straight out, so this is the yarn to use. I’ve only cast on, and I won’t get any more done tonight, because we are about to run out the door to go see Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
