So I’ve finished Colours of Kauai.
Almost.
The knitting is done, the blocking is done. I bought the buttons. And now I’m suffering from a massive case of indecision.
The light in this picture makes them look almost white. I assure you, they’re not!
They’re actually a good colour match, especially considering that I bought them off a computer screen! But I’m worried they’re a little big and overwhelming, especially seeing as there’s so many of them on the cardi.
I think I like them. But I also think I’ll keep looking at it for a few days before I decide for sure!
Speaking of indecision, we’re off to visit New Zealand next Friday. I can’t wait, a holiday is long overdue.
But I can’t decide what knitting to take!

I like the buttons. My only concern with them is how heavy will they be, with so many of them. If you don’t use them for this, you will have to find something to use them on, as they are really lovely.

I like the buttons….would it help to sew them on horizontal instead of vertical? Have a lovely vacation!

Omg that is a lot of buttons! I hate sewing them in when there’s only a few, so I can totally understand you wanting to get it right before you do it! I don’t know. They do seem a good match but there is so many of them, I wonder if maybe they do compete with the cardi a bit. Sorry, that’s not much help…
Holiday knitting…something small and easy, something small and a bit more complex. So plain socks and maybe an easy lace scarf/small shawl? And if you run out, well, you’ll just have to buy MORE YARN over there!

Love the buttons, I think its personal choice but I’d keep them on just for a little while and then choose to keep or swap.
Do you still go to SnB in the gong? I went for first time last weekend and it was lovely.
