So tomorrow, at wtf o’clock, I get up and head to Bendigo with my evil knitting other half, Knitabulous. There we’ll meet up with a bunch of my favourite knitters in the world (and many others!), and there will be knitting and shopping, drinking, eating and socialising aplenty.
Alas, it will be cold. And I’m scared of the cold. Not even remotely joking. 13C (55F) is torture for me. In a Sydney winter, which isn’t cold for many of you, I sleep under two quilts, in winter pj’s with wool socks and a hot water bottle. So I got the brilliant idea to knit myself some gloves for the trip.

It could still happen. Especially if I stop stuffing up the chart!!
I’m not sure who of the two of you is the evil knitting other half! The gloves are gorgeous. See you at Bendi.
You can do eet! Have fun, will be thinking of you all!
you can do it – yes you can!!!!!
They are so gorgeous! I hope you have the best of times.
They look AWESOME!!!
Have a great time, see you after you get back 😀
And those beads will accidently snag so many skeins of yarn and drop them into your shopping basket 😀
Your gloves are beautiful. I hope they keep you warm in Bendigo. The Canadian version would be to omit the beads since they get very cold, and skip the glove-fingers in favour of mitt-fingers so that each finger can keep the others warm!
Go, go, go! You will need them, and Ailsa has such a pretty pair to wear as well.
The gloves are going to be great! Have a nice time.
Oh well look at it this way, if you don’t finish the second glove, it will still be very handy as you always need to use you hand for things and it will be good like a fingerless glove. But having said that, I am sure you would have finished them in time.
and they DID look wonderful Donna – even if I did totally fail to get a decent photo of them on friday. Now remind me please [ for blog editing purposes ] which beret and scarf ?
