The pattern is Purl Lace Socks from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/tg\/detail\/-\/0964639157\/qid=1115871278\/sr=8-1\/ref=pd_csp_1\/103-6890847-7643802?v=glance&#038;s=books&#038;n=507846\">Socks, Socks, Socks<\/a>.<br \/>\nI love the Bearfoot, and I can see many more socks made of this in my future. It&#8217;s a nice soft, thick yarn, and the resulting socks are warm and comfy.<br \/>\nThe hat is done, too \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\nAfter the red garter bit, you change colour, and before the stocking stitch part, there is a small rib portion to help the hat fit better. How clever! When the hat is complete, the rib part is hidden behind the band.<br \/>\n<center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"babyhathalfdone.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.randomknits.net\/archives\/babyhathalfdone.jpg\" width=\"398\" height=\"299\" border=\"0\" \/><\/center><br \/>\nBut I finished the hat not half an hour ago.<br \/>\n<center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"babyhatdone.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.randomknits.net\/archives\/babyhatdone.jpg\" width=\"398\" height=\"306\" border=\"0\" \/><\/center><br \/>\nI&#8217;m pleased with it \ud83d\ude42 I used all the ends from the start to attach the i-cord edging. Now I&#8217;m going to do the matching bootees. I seem to be on a small project kick right now.<br \/>\nEm is always working on her flexibility. She&#8217;s pretty good, but she&#8217;d like to learn acrobatics. There isn&#8217;t anywhere close by us that I can find, so she just stretches at dance class and at home.<br \/>\nShe is now able to put her feet either side of her head.
